Tetanus and Diphtheria Serology test – single test for combination vaccine
For combination vaccines containing diphtheria and tetanus components, the serological assays listed in the PhEur under “2.7.6 Assay of Diphtheria, Method C” can be performed with the same group of animals used for the serological assay of the tetanus vaccine (adsorbed) when the common immunization conditions for the diphtheria and the tetanus components (e.g. doses, duration) have been demonstrated to be valid for the combined vaccine.
